Cate LeSourd graduated with honors from Elon University with a degree in Strategic Communications and minors in Human Services and Entrepreneurship. Since moving to Chicago after college, Cate has worked at a venture capital firm, an experiential marketing agency, a media startup, and a PR agency. These diverse work environments have refined her skills in marketing, writing, design, and strategy.
Her first few years in Chicago were filled with intense twists and turns, which fueled her passion for writing authentically and candidly about her own journey into adulthood. She values transparency and its power to bring hope, purpose, and restoration to individuals and communities. Motivated by a desire to help others not to feel alone, Cate wrote this book to bring to light the challenges, joys, and experiences we all face in the transition into adulthood.
